Turkish people eat Osmancik rice, which is a type of long-grain rice.
The rice is grown primarily in the Trakya region, but it is also grown in Bafra/Samsun.
When compared to Baldo rice, Osmanck rice is ideal for cooking pilaf and is much easier to cook.
