Turkish coffee cups are called demitasse (half cup in French and fincan in Turkish). It is used to serve Turkish coffee and espresso.

Why is it served in such small cups?

Turkish coffee was introduced around 1540 and it was a big hit. Back in the days, it was not affordable and it was consumed in a small fincan . Also, it is a strong beverage with high caffeine and could harm your kidney, heart, and blood pressure if consumed excessively.

Which one is stronger Turkish coffee or espresso?

When it comes to taste, Turkish coffee is much stronger than espresso.  They are both rich and flavorful, but they are different. Caffeine concentration for a cup of Turkish coffee is 165mg and espresso is 165 mg.
