What is Pepper Paste?

It is made of red peppers of course. It is a thick red paste made of salt and red peppers.  You can choose mild or hot flavour red pepper paste depending on the dish you are cooking. 

How to consume it?

It is used A LOT in Turkish cooking. It is probably the most used condiment in Turkey and is the secret ingredient to the most delicious Turkish food. It adds a wonderfully rich texture and flavour to all dishes.

Even a small dash of this paste is more than enough to add flavor to your dishes. It is found in many of the dishes such as Adana Kebap, mercimek kofte, lentil soup, menemen, shakshuka, lahmacun and more.
